IRCC INVITED 4,500 FRANCOPHONE CANDIDATES UNDER EXPRESS ENTRY

On March 6, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a new Express Entry draw specifically for candidates with French language proficiency. In round #339, IRCC issued 4,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs), reinforcing Canada’s commitment to attracting French-speaking immigrants.

The cut-off score for this draw was 410 points, marking an 18-point drop compared to the previous draw in this category. The tie-breaking rule was set for February 11, 2025, at 07:47:29 UTC.

As of March 3, 2025, there were 227,822 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool. So far this year, Canada has issued 22,647 ITAs through nine Express Entry draws, highlighting the country’s focus on skilled immigration.
