IRCC INVITED 3,300 CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS CANDIDATES UNDER EXPRESS ENTRY

On August 27, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted the fifth Express Entry draw of the year specifically targeting Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates. In this latest draw, IRCC issued an impressive 3,300 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to eligible candidates within the CEC category. This draw, identified as round #312, had a cut-off Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 507, which was 2 points lower than the previous CEC-targeted draw held on August 14, 2024.

A noteworthy detail of this round is the tie-breaking rule, set for June 5, 2024, at 01:08:58 UTC. This rule determines the prioritization of candidates who have the same CRS score, giving precedence to those who submitted their profiles earlier. As of the date of this draw, August 27, 2024, there were 205,137 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, reflecting the high level of interest in immigrating to Canada.
