IRCC HELD A NEW CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS DRAW UNDER EXPRESS ENTRY

On August 14, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held a new Express Entry draw specifically for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates. In this latest draw, round #309, IRCC issued 3,200 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates within the CEC category. The cut-off score for this draw was 509 points, just one point lower than the previous CEC-targeted draw that took place on July 31, 2024. The tie-breaking rule was applied to profiles submitted before March 01, 2024, at 19:23:21 UTC.

As of August 14, 2024, a total of 207,960 profiles were registered in the Express Entry pool, reflecting the high level of interest in Canada's immigration programs. This year, IRCC has issued 72,542 invitations across 31 Express Entry draws, underscoring Canada's commitment to welcoming skilled workers who have gained valuable Canadian work experience.
