IRCC HELD A NEW PNP DRAW UNDER EXPRESS ENTRY

On September 9, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted its eighth Express Entry draw of the year, specifically targeting candidates in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). During this draw, IRCC issued 911 Invitations to Apply (ITAs), offering PNP candidates the opportunity to move forward in the Canadian immigration process.

In round #313, the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required to receive an ITA was 732 points. This score marks a significant increase of 38 points compared to the previous PNP-targeted draw held on August 26, 2024. The tie-breaking rule for this round was based on profiles submitted before March 13, 2024, at 19:56:16 UTC.

As of September 9, 2024, the Express Entry pool registered 205,569 profiles, demonstrating the ongoing demand for immigration to Canada. So far in 2024, IRCC has issued a total of 79,874 invitations through regular Express Entry draws, underscoring Canada’s commitment to welcoming skilled workers to bolster its labor market.
