MANITOBA INVITED SKILLED WORKERS AND INTERNATIONAL GRADUATES
In a promising move towards attracting skilled workers and international graduates, Manitoba conducted its latest invitation round on January 25, 2024, through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This round, labeled #208, showcased Manitoba's commitment to welcoming talented individuals seeking opportunities in the province.
A total of 156 applicants received invitations under the "Completed post-secondary study in Manitoba" selection, each boasting a commendable minimum score of 772. Simultaneously, the Skilled Workers Overseas stream witnessed 41 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) extended to candidates selected under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative. Notably, the lowest score in the SWO category stood at 713 points, marking a significant increase of 74 points compared to the previous draw.
Further enhancing its international education stream, MPNP issued 78 invitations, affirming Manitoba's dedication to fostering global talent. In this particular round, the province granted LAAs to a total of 275 candidates, including 29 Express Entry candidates. In the broader context of 2024, MPNP has already invited 698 candidates, with 102 of them securing invitations through the Express Entry system.
