MANITOBA INVITED CANDIDATES UNDER THREE MPNP STREAMS
On October 24, 2024, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held invitation round #231, extending Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to eligible candidates across three program streams. This round reflects Manitoba’s continued commitment to attracting skilled workers and international graduates, supporting the province’s labor needs and economic growth.
Breakdown of the MPNP Invitation Round #231
In this latest round, 253 candidates were invited to apply through the following streams:
Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream: A total of 50 candidates received invitations, with a minimum required score of 872 points. This stream targets workers currently employed in Manitoba, helping retain talent within the province.
Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO) Stream: 47 LAAs were issued to candidates invited through the Strategic Recruitment Initiative. Candidates in this category required a minimum score of 703 points to be eligible for selection.
International Education Stream: 156 invitations were extended to recent graduates who completed their studies in Manitoba, providing a pathway to permanent residency and facilitating the transition from international student to skilled professional within the province.
In addition, this round included 43 Express Entry candidates, underscoring Manitoba’s strategy to attract candidates with a high likelihood of success in the federal Express Entry pool.

With these new invitations, Manitoba has issued 6,881 LAAs through the MPNP so far in 2024. Of these, 1,010 candidates were invited through Express Entry, reflecting the province's interest in drawing top candidates who meet both provincial and federal selection criteria.
