MANITOBA HELD NEW DRAWS UNDER THE MPNP

On April 20, 2023, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #176, the MPNP held a new occupation-specific candidate selection under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM) stream and invited 249 applicants who scored 615 points and above. Manitoba also issued 194 LAAs in the regular SWM draw. The minimum score for the LAA in this category was 651 points, 19 points fewer than the previous draw. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 26 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

The lowest score in the SWO category was 719 points, 11 points more than in the previous draw. In addition, 38 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream. Manitoba has issued LAAs to 507 candidates, including 91 Express Entry candidates for this round. In 2023, MPNP invited 3,881 candidates, and 607 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.
