IRCC INVITED NEW CANDIDATES UNDER THE IEC AFTER A TWO-WEEK PAUSE

Over the three weeks, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of International Experience Canada (IEC). From April 15 to May 5, Canada invited 2,453 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of May 5, there were 23,420 candidates registered in the pool, waiting for the invitation.

In this round, there were 269 ITAs for Australia, 1 ITA for Austria, 38 ITAs for Belgium, 40 ITAs for Chile, 110 ITAs for Costa Rica, 4 ITAs for Croatia, 37 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 5 ITAs for Estonia, 504 ITAs for France, 154 ITAs for Germany, 14 ITAs for Greece, 10 ITAs for Hong Kong, 148 ITAs for Ireland, 88 ITAs for Italy, 205 ITAs for Japan, 280 ITAs for Korea, 6 ITAs for Lithuania, 2 ITAs for Luxembourg, 69 ITAs for New Zealand, 3 ITAs for Norway, 37 ITAs for Poland, 27 ITAs for Portugal, 20 ITAs for Slovakia, 2 ITAs for Slovenia, 63 ITAs for Spain, 18 ITAs for Sweden, 20 ITAs for Switzerland, and 279 ITAs for Taiwan. In 2023, Canada issued 79,649 ITAs under the IEC Program.
