If you are planning to immigrate to Canada, one of the key requirements you have to fulfill is to take and pass a language proficiency test. You need to prove that you have the proper skills that will allow you to work, study and communicate with others while living in Canada.

If you chose English as your main language currently, there are two English test systems approved by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada:

·       The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP)

·       The International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
