CANADA INVITED 1,121 PNP CANDIDATES UNDER EXPRESS ENTRY

On August 26, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted the seventh Express Entry draw of the year specifically for candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). During this draw, IRCC issued 1,121 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates who were nominated by provinces and territories, reflecting the importance of regional contributions to Canada’s immigration strategy. This draw, identified as round #311, had a cut-off Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 694 points, marking an increase of four points compared to the previous PNP-targeted draw held on August 13, 2024.

The tie-breaking rule for this round was set for August 3, 2024, at 18:54:27 UTC. This rule ensures that candidates with the same CRS score are prioritized based on when they submitted their profiles. As of August 26, 2024, there were 205,448 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, showcasing the ongoing interest in Canadian immigration.

So far in 2024, Canada has issued a total of 75,663 invitations through 33 Express Entry draws, highlighting the nation’s continued focus on attracting skilled workers through the PNP and other immigration pathways.
